Offer a heartfelt offering to Taishakuten, who has been listening to people's prayers and watching over them since ancient times.
Shibamata Taishakuten Temple offers various memorial services as a place to remember the spirits of ancestors and loved ones and offer quiet prayers.
We will deliver the merit of your prayers to the precious spirits who are in the Pure Land.
Annual memorial service, ancestor memorial service, memorial service, unborn baby memorial service, pet memorial service, memorial service for the deceased, eye-opening and eye-closing memorial service (memorial tablets, hanging scrolls, etc.), etc.
*We do not accept doll memorial services.
*We can also perform closing ceremonies for Buddhist altars, but we cannot keep the items for burning after the sutra reading.

Information on memorial services
*Memorial services are accepted at any time between 9:00 and 15:30 every day.
*Please apply directly at Taishakudo on the day (reservations are not accepted).
*There may be times when we are unable to accept your visit due to events, etc. Please check in advance before visiting.
Apply online (for those who cannot visit in person)
For those who find it difficult to visit Taishakuten Temple, we accept applications for memorial services online.
If you would like to make a memorial service, please fill out the necessary information and apply using the "Application Form" button below.
If you have a specific date in mind, such as the date of death, please specify this as well.
Applying by mail
If you wish to apply by mail, please download and print the application form from the "Application Form for Eko" button below and fill in the necessary information.
Then, please send it by registered mail along with the memorial fee listed above.
If you would like the wooden stupa to be mailed to you after the sutra reading, please enclose 500 yen in shipping fees.
*If you have any specific dates or requests regarding the sutra reading, please write them in the notes section of the application form.
