Taishakuten Recitation Ceremony
It is held at the Soshido (main hall) on the 16th of every month from 5pm.
The Taishakuten Dokujukai is a gathering based on the teachings of the Nichiren sect, which aims to deepen faith and accumulate merit through reading aloud the teachings of the Lotus Sutra, participating in annual events (chanting at the Koshin Festival and cold-weather training from the Great Cold), and visiting sacred sites (temples associated with Saint Nichiren).
Please join us to pray for the souls of your ancestors and for your own training.
Venue: Soshido (Main Hall)
Date and time: 16th of every month, starting at 5pm (Tea party afterwards)
Participation fee: Free
*Those who wish to join will be charged an annual membership fee of 2,000 yen.
*The seating is chair-based, so even those who are not confident in sitting upright can feel free to participate.
*Late participation is also possible.
